Activities for an Arthurian Festival for Kindergartners and Elementary School Students
This brief outline is provided by Linda Malcor, whose church has conducted medieval fairs for kindergartners and elementary school students.
(1) The kids had "archery practice" (They blew Q-tips through straws at a preset target.)
(2) They crawled through a maze of chairs that was dubbed a "gauntlet" by organizers.
(3) They made suits of "armor" out of newspapers.
(4) They were "knighted" by an adult.
(5) They went on a quest ("scavenger hunt").
(6) And they watched a video like The Sword in the Stone or Quest for Camelot.
